Oh Boy - 17 yrs old.
That was a few years ago for me.
1) Popular Music when I was 17 - DISCO

"Saturday Night Fever" Bee Gees
2) Gasoline - I'm guessing around .70 Cents a gallon.
3) FWD cars from the Big Three - Did not exist yet.
Some Foreign Vehicles imported to our country where FWD.
4) V-8 engine power & torque where in the toilet compared todays output.

Haha, you're not that old... Now I can remember this in 40 years and tell my kids; "When I was 17, JAPAN was everywhere here! Gas was $3.00 a gallon, and music was overplayed by every radio station! Haha thanks again fellas, now I can drive places instead of relying on everyone else!
