I need to put new front shocks on the RMW ASAP. I did a search on shocks but most of the posts didn't really say what kind of driving the shocks were recommended for.

I'm not drag racing it or autoxing, but what I want are quality shocks that will match or improve the handling of the factory shocks (HD suspension). I also use it for towing ~3500 lbs. Any such thing for under $40 or so ea?

Thanks!

Rob,

Good hearing from you.

I wish the German made Bilstein shocks were $40.00.
Thats what I would recommend.

Myself with Bilstein shocks for your wagon wutzerdance150.gif

Do you still have your 9c1 from the Maine S.P. ?

The Bilstein 1104/929 combo are what I've had on my 9C1 for about 5 years now and are much stiffer than stock.. They are not $40 each but they work well and last.
Not sure if they fit on the rear of wagons or not, No idea why they wouldn't....
I thought they were around $70 each but I don't remember and it was years ago...

I have had good luck on other vehicles with the shocks Carquest carries..

I just worked on a 9C1 in a junkyard with factory Bilstiens. They were still good and firm after a zillion miles. 1104/929 on the Roadmaster wagon is a fantastic combo. A little stiff on the 9C1 but that may be the 9C1 springs.

Rob,
Any luck on $40.00 shocks for your vehicle?

Joel,
Was it from this factory black 95 9c1?

I'm looking for a rust free drivers front fender for my brotherinlaw's 92 Caprice.

Will this yard remove the parts for us to pick up?

I recently dealt with rusty front fender bolts and fasteners to replace a bad fender like this.

I wish I had a torch or grinder,
To cut the bolts and fasterners on the inner fender & inner wheel well attached to the outer fender.

It took too much time,
to change out the rusty fender with new used fender.

Thanks
Wutz

Maybe this fender might do?
If the yard removes it for my brotherinlaw.
