Uh, it's somewhere inbetween. sad.gif The guy who's been storing it for me this past month has had several people inquire about it's availability, so I'm considering selling it.

Is that a big block, with the TH400? Front disc? Now that could be a real smoke machine- hmmm, early '70's still points and condenser. Easy to swap an old GM HEI distributer, if you can find one. That is pre-catalyst, too. Needs premium leaded? I've fallen back into the past in my oun head! No air bags or ABS- just a basic hot rod. Not sure what's going on in the collectable market- what does something like this book for?

reminds me of a keg party I was at years ago, and one of my friends asked a cute young thing with tight shorts if she was "going to feed that thing before it eats your shorts?"....

Yes (402), yes & yes.

Bought it with an Accel HEI already installed. I run regular 87 octane - stays around 180* unless I'm doing 100mph for a long period of time, which happened occasionally. Then I had to turn the second fan on & it would level out around 220*.

Another Chevrolet I wouldn't mind owning.

I can still remember Tommy Kristoff's 1970 454 SS Monte Carlo.

Black Cloth Interior.
Brown Exterior
Black Vinyl Roof.
Corvette rims - Trim rings - Center caps.

I use to pump 260 Sunoco Leaded Fuel into that Bad Boy burnout.gif

I need a Bigger garage to start collecting my Favorite V-8 Rear Wheel drive Chevrolets pimp.gif
