Thanks John....

I called George with the tire company and found out they had discontinued another product # but are continuing to produce the RSA's in our size. banana.gif

Apparently GoodYear probably upgraded the tire and changed the product #.

He qouted me a price of $162.44 per tire for the 225/70/15 yikes.gif

But it probably is the cheapest around.

Thanks John for setting this account up!!

I'll start saving.......

Dan I have been watching the original Prices of our 15" V-rated 149mph GM Factory Installed cop tires since they where installed on all 95 and 96 Lt1 9c1's from Arlington, Texas - GM Plant.

They have more than doubled in price since 98.

The last set I bought I paid $90.00 for a tire and I would assume the police departments around the country where buying Thousands of them at a contract price probally in the $60 to $70 a range.

I just heard of a UNYISSO member over the summertime paying $200.00 for these tires mounted and balanced in the 235-70-15 size.

Justed contacted Tirerack.com and its $171.83 for a tire to my door step.

Yeah the prices are nuts Dan wacko.gif I am shocked what they are asking for 15" pursuit cop tires shock.gif

Then to watching our tires go up in smoke at all the drag race tracks, that the ECIRS racers participate in burnout.gif

As we know --- Buffalo, NY area, recently had 2 ft of Snow.

Today I decided to yank the 295-50-15 Summer Tires off BBB.
Lubed the rear caliper slide pins & Install the wornout snow tires.

If our Seasonal Snow Accumulation is heading for 100".
I'll install the used Z56 Snow Tires.

Tony Damore took care of me today for Brenda's Vehicle.
Just Over $100 out the door.
For Two 15" Snow Tires --- Aggressive High Void Style Tire.

(Wow was the Goodyear Warehouse busy today,
Phone ringing off the hook - Tires constantly being shipped out)

15" Classic Style Snow tires.
I Would have no problem going thru Jonathan Hunt's snow covered fields.

Hey Gang ---- Winter driving is just around the corner.

Jonathan,
When the warehouse guy pulled the tires,
Two story high tire rack.
(Amongst the Thousands of Tires in the Warehouse)

Rolling the tires towards me.
Wow banana.gif - Look at the tread design.

Boy O Boy ---- These tires are going to be loud.
When you leave the snow covered roads and hit dry pavement.

Tires could also have studs installed.

I'm sure you have had fun with your field vehicles on your farm.

Wutz

Jim,
With Western New York already getting slammed,
With a freak October snow storm.
400,000 places initially cut off from electricity.
Because of tree branches taking down the wires..

I'm not taking any chance with these 12" wide Summer tires on the back.

If I'm lucky --
I might be able to make it until December with these wornout
225-70-15" snow tires I installed today.

I'll throw the good tires on -- if we get a good winter snowfall.
And toss out the current ones on BBB.

Wutz
