It's official I've gone over to the Whales smile.gif

96 Roadmaster wood delete - Got her from that crazy wagon guy Fred. She was a recovery vehicle for a funeral home in MA Car is very solid but has high miles. Car was in a accident Fred replaced the front seat, bumper, core, hood, fender - I am finishing the work by replacing the driver door, attacking any surface rust, replacing the carpets, blacking out the grill, and removing the twenty "roadmaster" logos Jesus GM we've got it its not a chevy tongue.gif (all parts including carpet found very very cheap like under $200).

Here are some "in progress" shots:

Very Nice Dave thumbsup.gif

Perfect color combo -- Black with a Tan Interior.

This past Winter,
I was standing in Fred's Garage where your black wagon was parked.

I picked up his Business Cards and handed them out to few RAISSE members at Jonathan Hunts Farm.

Dave, are you gonna have it drivable in time for Fred's wagon event? You oughta throw the SS's rims on it and drive it to the wagon event; should look sweet!

By the way ... any RAISSE members are welcome to drop by for some paint and body work - I'll be working on the car from about 5pm on

Truth be told I will be spending the majority of the time on my car as you can see it's a bit in-depth, but you can use my tools and I can assist & guide you. Luc, Mike, & J you're welcome to stop in we can prep the cars for paint.

I can supply for free:

Compressor
Pnuematic body tools
Dolly & hammers
paint guns
primer & thinner
degreaser
spot glazing putty
200 & 150 grit sandpaper (coarse)

It would be nice to pitch in to offset the costs of:
body filler (bondo) - I just bought new gallon
UTech 200 Reducer (medium speed) just bought a gallon & price went up to $33 bucks - if you want to paint the final color coat.

If you come please bring your own finish sand papers - 600, 800, 1500, and 2000 grit.

For final color I thought I'd be able to have enough of the black but I decided to do more on the wagon so we'll need more black plus other colors - -Luc black - J not sure what that trooper color is or if they even have a paint code, Mike ditto on the green, - but by buying the same brand we can share the cost of the reducer which costs more than a quart of paint!

I can meet anyone at Paint Masters on brighton henrietta twn line rd (near winton end) Wed or thursday this week during lunch around 12:45 and we can buy the paint

Just let me know leave a message at home or post here -

Dave

Nothing like digging right into it! Are you going to be working on it every day until it's done? I have something going on tomorrow night, but could swing by Fri, Sat, and/or Sun. Let me know - I'd be glad to lend a hand (and learn a bit in the process).

Looks good...maybe you should call it 'The Transporter' biggrin.gif

Luc - You're welcome to stop by, I should be working on it a little bit each day on it. I'm in training class this week at our Henrietta location and I've been getting out at 5 on the nose so home by 5:15. Been a bit under the weather myself and that combined with the heat has slowed me down a bit. Friday I took PTO to watch the twins so I'll be shop forman too that day! smile.gif

Dave,
New York State --- Dark Sapphire Blue paint code is WA 9382.
This factory color was not offered to the Public on the Caprice Models in 94-95-96.

I have not seen Jeremiah on inegma.gif in a long time.

Thanks for the code John - but looks like J may be selling the 13.8 second 9C1.

Almost done with the pannel work on the wagon - taking longer cause of the rug rats and didn't touch it for two nights this week due to the heat.

Luc came over helped and watched - looks like we'll be doing his SS in the upcoming months.

Here is a shot of the "new" door and fender:

Jeremiah could still hangout on inegma.gif -
I always liked his enthusiasm and knowledge for our Automotive Hobby.

Your nickname -- "Mad Dog Servati" which I see hanging on your garage wall.

Did Rob H. give you this nickname?
Or did you have this before joining the RAISSE Club?

Your Wagon is looking Good.
