Don't mind me Dave, just putting a pic of my Monte on the site in preparation of a For Sale post. <sneaks of into the shadows>
I finally get to see your
Big Block Monte Carlo
Is it back in Indiana?
Or do you have it in New York?
Uh, it's somewhere inbetween. The guy who's been storing it for me this past month has had several people inquire about it's availability, so I'm considering selling it.
nice! I love those first gen Monte Carlos!

Is that a big block, with the TH400? Front disc? Now that could be a real smoke machine- hmmm, early '70's still points and condenser. Easy to swap an old GM HEI distributer, if you can find one. That is pre-catalyst, too. Needs premium leaded? I've fallen back into the past in my oun head! No air bags or ABS- just a basic hot rod. Not sure what's going on in the collectable market- what does something like this book for?
I'm just posting some pics too...
Hmmmmm.....I recognize the Camel Toe, but what is the other ....?
reminds me of a keg party I was at years ago, and one of my friends asked a cute young thing with tight shorts if she was "going to feed that thing before it eats your shorts?"....
Another Chevrolet I wouldn't mind owning.
I can still remember Tommy Kristoff's 1970 454 SS Monte Carlo.
Black Cloth Interior.
Brown Exterior
Black Vinyl Roof.
Corvette rims - Trim rings - Center caps.
I use to pump 260 Sunoco Leaded Fuel into that Bad Boy
I need a Bigger garage to start collecting my Favorite V-8 Rear Wheel drive Chevrolets
not INEGMA-related, but photobucket is down, so ...
