Kenny,

This shop has been around forever installing Exhaust Systems.
I have seen ads from the 60ties hanging up in their office area.

Not sure what kind of pipe bending machine they have?
They do stock multiple sizes & lengths of exhaust pipe that they can custom bend.

Pete's Accessories and Auto Parts
130 Edison Ave
Schenectady, New York.
518-346-1223

Their shop is in walking distance of the GE Main Manufacturing Campus.
A couple blocks from Highway 890 ---- Broadway Exit
In downtown Schenectady

Dad's 1996 Buick Park Ave with 385,000 miles was recently at Pete's

Original muffler replaced for the 3.8 V-6 Engine
They were able to save the OEM pipe in front of the muffler.
Weld in a new Muffler.
Cut -- Bend - and weld in a tailpipe.

If you do decide to use them.

First come first serve
Customers waiting at his door sometimes 1/2 hr,
before his doors open up on a business day.

I think they do good work.
Their 3 or 4 bay garage is well worn with years of repairing vehicles.

Congratulations on picking up a 2002 Chevy Blazer

Thanks Johnny. Picked up the blazer today, the body is 99 % free of anykind of rust. the interior is primo. she runs nice. i want to get that k&n cold air induction system for her after i cleanout the throttle bodies. she has factory tint around and with the white paint she standsout nice. the engine area is almost new. just a few bolts with the standard rust. you have to drop this skidplate just to do the earl change. i presume the plugs were never changed at 86,499 miles. so far so good. i have heard of some real clunker blazers on some of the websites.

will change the earl and the tranny filter and fluid maybe tomorrow.

thanks, kennybopaloo..

Kenny,

I was also thinking.

If you buy a dual exhaust system for your trailblazer,
from a exhaust manufacture.

Examples I found

http://www.etrailer.com/Exhaust-System/Che...leid=2002204070
http://www.stainlessworks.net/marketing/20..._prdct_annc.jpg
http://www.lmperformance.com/6917/27.html
http://www.planetmagnaflow.com/shop/magnaflow-16833-941.html
http://www.nextag.com/Parts--zztrailbla~er...003zB6z5---html

I know Pete's could remove your original Catback,

Install your dual system.

Kenny,

Dual exhaust Catback System in stainless steel are usually expensive.
Beauty of it,
It will last forever and not rust out like a aluminized or steel exhaust systems.

Gary, dW and myself,
Are running the stainless steel dual exhaust SLP Catback system on our 95 9c1.

10 years of daily use and still in great shape.

John Danek inspects the SLP Catback system before I install it on BBB

I know,
Pete's does not stock the Stainless steel pipe,
but has the traditional steel exhaust pipe in stock.
