I ordered my new tranny lines from Dal along with some other parts. He was very courteous, knowledgeable, and friendly.

Thanks John for posting Dal's info per popular demand. Now I know why there is a demand for his info. Great guy! wink.gif

Glad I could help you out Ben.

When a few guys originally asked me about Dal's contact info.

I went to the wall in my garage which had his info from 2000. biggrin.gif
Then I remember he is in all our ISSCA magazines jump3.gif

But a new UNYISSO member has all blink.gif my Magazines now for reading material. hahaha.gif

Glad I remembered that a few Northeast clubs like LISST and NJ BEASST had his info readily available to double check my older 4 year info.

The phone number to reach Dal directly without going to the eye candy answering the dealer's main line is:

1-877-448-5451

I prefer eye candy, but needed the parts more... laugh.gif

Thanks again for posting Dal's info John! cool.gif

I didn't figure the other two pictures that go with that one would be "appropriate" on this particular post. All I can say is jaw-dropper.gif says it all.

Hi to all.

I had not planned to post until next week,
Some of you Already know I have advised vandevere that I am retiring as of august 31 And leaving them.
This is part true.
I formally retired in order to keep My 100% vested ira money but there are other reasons for leaving them Which I will not go into in this post.
I will still be involved as in The past,

My direct phone 877-448-5451 and emails lockitup@bright.net
And lockitup@ohio.net are all the same as always.

Plans are already in The works for continuing as before with parts suppliers and I will be Expanding some performance and other items like the 5/8" suspension Upgrades, seat sliders, new rear emergency brake units, etc.

This post is just to keep make everyone aware of the change and I will Advise more in a week or two. Prices will be better, shipping costs Lower, so it should be good for all of us.

Once again, thanks to all of you for your support, hope to get to More events soon, this of course depends on how well my wife is Doing at that time.

Stay safe, enjoy your cars, they are still better than anything Coming out of Detroit!!!

From the naisso digest: September 01, 2007
Labor Day Weekend

Hi to all, hope all enjoyed the holiday.

Just to let everyone know where I am now. I am now working with RMS automotive in texas. I will still be able to supply most parts as before. But in addition, they have audio equipment, JVC, Kenwood, etc., Felpro, Spicer and many other items we use on our GM cars. You can visit their web site at http://www.rmsautoparts.com and check them out. Be sure to let them know you are one of Dals guys so you get the best prices available.

They DO NOT add to shipping charges, and they DO NOT take two weeks to ship a order that is in stock as VanDevere has been doing.

For rush info or orders my 877-448-5451 phone is still available

For regular inquires please use my email lockitup@bright.net as I check this all day long.

Everyone stay safe

Hi to all. I guess I have known for a while that I would get
To a point of having to retire but it happened faster than i
Thought. Most of you know of my wife's poor health with the
Parkingson and dimensia and unfortunately it has progressed
In spite of the medications, etc. I feel all of you are like
Family over the past 11 years and want to say thanks to everyone
Of you 9,600 guys that have stayed with me over the years. Most
Of you know I also have my 93 yr.old dad with me so I am running
Out of day before I run out of things to do, so this has promped
Me to back off for a while and do what I can for both of them.

I made the move back in august when vandevere dropped out of the
Internet to go with RMS automotive (these are issca guys) and
Know our cars. All has worked out well and I made them aware of
This change and they will continue to support all of us on gm parts
We may need for future. Their web side is www.rmsautoparts.com and
They have a lot to offer. I will be dropping my 877 phone number
In a week or so but I will continue to have my email addresses
And will help anyone that may need info or help on their car parts
When I can as I do have my gm current parts books on computer.
I will be making up a list of my collection of gm parts paper
Catalogs (have approx. 75 of these) plus a lot of other gm info,
But this will be later on as I purchased a home in Brooksville, florida
For winter use to get my wife and dad in sunshine thru th cold months
So will let you guys know more later. I will continue to lerk as before
And participate when I can on info if I have it. Be sure to tell rms
If you order that you are one of dals special guys

Thanks to all of you, I am still around and well, just slowing down
For a while.
Be sure to drive careful, stay save and enjoy our cars, I still say
There is nothing better coming from Detroit so far to compare,

Dal slabaugh
