Weather permitting we are planing on going to The Gathering Of Old Cars at the Mills Mansion . If you would like to travel down with us we will be meeting at the Wolf Rd Dunkin Dounuts by Colonie Center at 8:30 am. Lets hope for a nice day and looking forward to seeing you there . If you've never been to Mills Mansion, it's a great setting along the Hudson.

Suffolk County just installed Traffic Camera's at the intersections of Commack Road and the LIE, and Commack road and Vanderbilt Parkway.

These are the type to take your picture when you go through on a Yellow/Red or make an illegal turn.

This Sunday,Oct. 31st is the last judged show of the year.

This show promises to be a very special show. It will be in Bayville at the beach.
The theme is Halloween and Fun.

Please see attached poster for all the details. We will be meeting in Oyster Bay and Caravaning to Bayville.

We will meet at the Hess Station at the corner of Route 106 and Berryhill Rd. at 8:30am and leave at 8:45am SHARP.

There is only room for approx. 200 cars so we must get there on time.

We have a reserved area for the club.....ONLY IF WE GET THERE ON TIME.

We will not be allowed to save spaces.

As you know the car season is winding down for 2010 and it is time to ask you for nominations for Officers for 2011. Due to personal reasons I will not be seeking any Officer's position for 2011 but will still be a member of LISST and help out when I can. We are looking for our members to step forward and nominate themselves or others to serve as officers for next year.

Be sure to say what office you are nominating the person for. Please nominate one member for each of the following offices:

· PRESIDENT

Associate members cannot serve as LISST officers.



Our next and last meeting for the year will be Sunday November 21, 2010, at the East Meadow Hooter's. That meeting will be different from most in that we will be having two special events at this meeting:



-- LISST will be presenting Friend's of Karen and Make A Wish with their donation checks raised from Drag Day and the Car Show.



-- We are also planning to hold the LISST officer elections that Day, so please attend so you can vote.

If you do not attend the meeting you will not be able to cast a vote for next year’s officers.



I also will be mailing out the flyers on Monday 11/1 for our Holiday Party which is Sunday December 5, 2010. Please send them back ASAP when you receive them so I can get an idea how many people will be attending. Thank You.

Hello GNISSC Folks,


Thanks to all of you for helping us make this year the best yet in raising money for the Hendrick Marrow Program!!!!!


Just wanted to let everyone know who had a hand in making things really happen this year at our Buffett Style Margaritaville Carlisle Event, that I recieved the Match Foundation letter from Minnesota last week, and that they rec'd our GNISSC Donation of $1300.00. They expressed there sincere "Thanks" for our continued support to there organization on behalf of Mr. Rick Hendrick.



This yearly task is a true team effort for all of us involved, and with things the way they are, we still exceeded the previous years donation by $200.

It is a worthwhile cause, and please pass on the deep appreciation to all of those that generously donated, and to you all who made it successfully happen!



I will make sure PagSS and Tony & SSally get a copy of the letter to keep in our club files.
