How does Don feel about reverse lights? They aren't on the menu just yet. The rest of it is legit.

Nope. I had a rocker making a racket all the way down. We relashed it at the track, but at that point I had zero confident miles on it. That and my clutch wasn't broken in yet. No track time for me. I have more confidence in it now and would like to get it to the track some Wed night to see where we stand.

I have to say this thing, despite having nothing for an interior save two seats and a steering wheel, despite having no tach or speedo, despite having a hole in the floor that I can watch the road whizzing by, despite having a few rattles to sort out, is an absolute BLAST to drive! It's really transformed the car into what I've always wanted it to be. And it isn't even tuned yet. It stalls sometimes if I don't blip the throttle when coming to a stop...but I don't care! I'm giggling like a twelve year old girl the whole time I'm driving it.

You guys will have to go for a spin some time. It's really not fair that I get to have all the fun smile.gif

Glad you're having fun! I always thought they would be great cars to drive with a standard.

The thing is an absolute HOOT! Filled up for the first time today. No idea what I'm getting for gas mileage (no speedo/odo), but I do know that I've had over 20 gallons worth of fun smile.gif Also got myself my first speeding ticket! peelout.gif

Whoops.

Definitely have some bits to sort out, but overall it's been smooth sailing. I think I'm going to need to spring for the T56 tubular crossmember as my driveline angle is off 3 degrees and I've got some light vibes that start at 70mph. Somebody take this 4L60E tubular one off my hands!

And it's NYSInspected now. Nice.
