Just updating for the new year/season .. We made our first outing to Empire Dragway (NYIRP) tonight - still don't have any slicks/drag radials but had fun ... ran flat 14 wit LOUSY lights and very tentative starts on street tires. I can't wait to get those sticky tires on the car and do a WOT launch!

Took sammy down the track ... 100mph - cool daddy!! smile.gif

Speaking of tires - I'm leaning to my first set M/T ET Streets bias ply wrinkle sidewalls but could be convinced to look at others Soo.. I'd be looking at 15" 26 diameter 10.5 width - is that too short a tire? Have any of you used drag radials? How do they hook compared to the wrinkle type bias ply tires? Would I be better off with a taller tire (they seem to only come in full slicks which I don't want - I want DOT tires - or in Drag Radials... looking for some input as I'll be ordering somthing to run next Wed night.

I run the M/T ET streets. They are the DOT radials,275/50/15s. I love them! Im currently on my fifth set goin on sixth by the end of the season. I highly recommend them!
