EDIT: Should say "Rear Brakes"

After being reminded by a post on ISSF about sliders by Mr Harper, I decided it was a good time to look at my rear brakes. Good thing, the rear driver side was frozen. It has only been a year and only about 3,000 miles but they were pretty rough (sliders). I cleaned them out with brake clean and Q-tips and ran gease in and out until the grease came clean. Re-lubed and back together. Pads weren't quite 1/2 way so I decided to leave them until summer.

Good time to get that PM done before the good weather starts!!

Truck is next.

I keep saying, one of these years I'm going to drop off my 9C1 @ your house in the fall and see how much faster it is in the spring wink.gif

About twice a year a super charger kit comes up for sale on the SS forum, ones that are designed for 7-9 PSI and to work fine with a stock engine. And they usually come with everything ready to bolt on...

Unforutnately they are always in the $2K range (about 2X my current annual budget lol)
They seem like the best bang-for-the-buck mod other than laughing gas... It's like 10 mods all rolled into one! wink.gif
whereas a set of good heads would probably yeild similar gains, a SC is something that would bolt on without pulling the engine and re-doing alot of other work...

Ohh well. This year's mod list includes new rear tires, fixing alot of little bugs, instally the pile-o-parts taking up space in my shed etc.. and DRIVING her. Basically the same mod list as last year bonk.gif
