P.S. We would greatly appreciate it if you kept us posted on upcoming events and meets - we would love to continue to participate.

It was nice meeting you and Caroline also! I didn't have the bling bling this time around for a kit, but when I do I'll be looking you up, GP price or not. We really appreciate your support of our club and hope to see you at some events in the future!

You're pictures came out really good and I'll send them to you tonite when I get home.

Sorry man, I'm still working on them...I got some of them posted to our photo gallery last night but I'm not done yet. I'll probably finish it up tonight...

Here's what we have so far. (click on that) I'll email you larger sized versions when I finish uploading to the gallery.

Hey Gang - Sorry to bring this ancient thread back to life.

Work that Myself -- ( with guidance and help of my friend - Gary M).
Did on Big Bad Blue in 2003 with these kits.
All the parts are still working fine in 2006 with Zack's Suspension kit

What I found yesterday,
while installing new 02 sensors in the exhaust while on Jack Stands.

yikes.gif Blew my mind - And probally kept me alive - While driving this vehicle in the future.

One of the front lower control arm bolts.
Which attaches the lower control arm to the frame.
Was working itself out of the bushings faintthud.gif after 3 years of driving

Thank Goodness I found this problem.

Next time I see Dal Slabaugh - I'm going to have to thank him.
For creating the GM B-body Parts Book for the members.
(Dal created the GM parts book for Troy Wilrick in 99 - Which Troy sold thru his NAISSO Impala SS Store)

Found the correct GM Part number for the Nut needed.
Went to my Local Chevy Dealer -- Car is back together.

Last week the 9c1 started to feel a little loose in the front end.
(Felt like when you have bad tires and worn shocks)
I thought it was related to a couple frame mount body bushing bolts.
That I found rotted away.

Wutz

It is a wise idea to check all suspension bolts for the first year after doing a suspension rebuild. One of mine was loose this summer as well, although it was a UCA pivot shaft nut.

Joel -- I was lucky to find this problem after 3 years of use.

I could have easily lost control of trying to steer BBB.

The 9c1 handles like it should now.
Without the front suspension being loose.

Newer style nut from GM installed.
I guess you would call it a self locking style nut.
Also installed a heavy duty lock washer in front of it.

There will be another NYSP Dark Sapphire Blue 95 9c1 Lt1,
Hitting the streets soon.
UNYISSO.GIF member -- Dima (A Mechanic at Key Motors)

Pulled the Old New York Cruiser off the back lot in Saugerties, NY.
Looks like it came out of a Museam.
Sitting After all these years. Still intack

108,000 miles.
Went out of patrol service in 98.
Back on the Road in 06.
All the Factory 9c1 goodies --- still installed and working.

Wutz
